eda provided surveying, engineering and permitting services for the construction of a new entrance road to the Gainesville Regional Airport, designed in 2 phases. The road is approximately 3,200 LF with divided east and west bound lanes, connecting the airport to Waldo Road.

- Provided detailed topographic survey of the subject property showing the locations of wetland lines, trees, above-ground improvements, and underground utilities
Engineering
- Developed full construction plans for complete civil design of the project and all associated site improvements, including utility and stormwater infrastructure
- Received approval from the St. Johns River Water Management District for major modifications to the existing Environmental Resource Permit for the site, including preparation of stormwater calculations demonstrating compliance with the master drainage system
- Permitted utility improvements with GRU
- Prepared, coordinated, and secured site plan approval through the City of Gainesville’s permitting process.
